Wow, Already been a Week…

7 days post Surgery-Wish my Mom would stop taking pics!
IIt’s already been a week since my surgery. It has been tougher than I thought. Romeo isa great patient but now, his desire to be normal Iis causing him some delays in healing due toswelling. Nobody got any sleep the first 2 nights but then I got a good one.
My mom is obsessed with journaling this adventure. I never have liked pics of my bad side, yep, the left. But, it keeps her happy so I do it. Hope my next seven continue to get better. I am sodone with swelling, I just want to lay down on my left side. See ya later peeps!

I am a 10 year old Male Fawn Pug. I was diagnosed with Hemangiopericytoma in Feb. 2017. I had surgery but it came right back. so today, June 16, 2017 I'm having my whole front left leg amputated. I live on an acre with my Mom and Dad and I love all the grass and birds. I love my walks and all the friends I have. My Mom and Dad take me on walks all around the neighborhood. They even bought me a Puggy Buggy so if I get too hot or too tired, I can get in and they push me home. I love food too but my FAVORITE is the homemade, dehydrated chicken treats Mom makes me.

  1. Sorry for all the mistakes in this post, 6-22, I can’t see the text whwn I’m in edit. I’ll get this figured out.

  2. Awww, sweet little Romeo! I grew up with a fawn Pug. They just don’t get any sweeter.

Best wishes for wonderful, swell-free days ahead! What a little Trooper.

    XOXO Rae & Skyla, day 3 post-op

    1. Thank you Rae & Skyla for the sweet words. I see you are 3 days post op, how are you feeling?

I think the first 3-4 days after I came home was the worse. I hope that you have had a better time at it than I.

If I can get Mom trained on this site, I’ll look you up.

      Happy healing,

      Romeo

  3. We’re so glad Romeo is making good progress and that you got some sleep! We are wishing you a speedy recovery!
